Our naturally hardwood smoked Pork Knuckle is perfect for slow roasting. This incredibly tender, juicy pork meat on the bone is ready to please; it’s a mouth-watering center piece dish for any table.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Remove the plastic wrapping and place the Smoked Pork Knuckle on a wire rack inside a roasting pan.
Add enough water to cover the bottom of the roasting pan completely.
Cover the pan with foil, making a tent over the Pork Knuckle.
Heat in the oven for 30 – 40 minutes.
After the first 30 – 40 minutes, remove foil and increase oven temperature to 425°F.
Heat again until brown and crispy (approximately 8 – 10 minutes).
Remove from the oven and serve as desired.
For added flavor with German inspiration, serve with a side of sauerkraut.
