Our Landjaeger Sausage is now crafted in Canada, but not to worry, we’re still using our traditional German hunters’ sausage recipe that has stood the test of time. Let the aroma of our traditional blend of spices and rich red wine whisk you away to the beautiful German countryside.

How it's Made

We create Freybe’s Landjaeger Sausages the traditional way by blending cuts of pork to the perfect consistency with the sweetness of red wine and the spice of caraway, pepper, coriander and nutmeg. Once we’ve stuffed our Landjaeger Sausages into their casings, we take the time to press and hard-wood smoke them until they’re thoroughly dried, ready to eat, and brimming with that famous Freybe flavour.
